Overall aim of the job:


As a Linen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the housekeeping department. You will be responsible for managing linen and towels, assisting with room preparation, and supporting the overall cleanliness and guest experience.

Please note, West Court Retreat is not on a public transport route, so please consider necessary travel arrangements.

What you'll do:


Key responsibilities of this role will include:

Transport and distribute clean linen and towels to guest rooms and designated areas. Retrieve and hygienically handle soiled linen for transport to the laundry. Wash, dry, and sort robes, towels, and linens to maintain an adequate supply for guest use. Assist with bed-making, room preparation, and replenishing room amenities. Support housekeeping tasks, ensuring rooms meet high cleanliness standards. Maintain linen storage areas, monitor stock levels, and report any damages. Safely operate laundry trolleys and equipment, reporting maintenance issues as needed. Respond promptly to housekeeping requests, especially during busy periods. Interact professionally with guests, addressing their needs promptly. Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Participate in training and development programs to ensure compliance with safety policies.
