Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Link Club Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality childcare services. The role involves overseeing and engaging with children in a nurturing environment, promoting their development and well-being whilst keeping safeguarding at the forefront of everything we do. Hours of work:

Monday-Friday: 2:45pm-6:15pm. Term time only. Additional hours to be worked throughout the year in our holiday club.

Duties:

- Drive the implementation of engaging activities for children in the Link Club

- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a safe and supportive environment

- Manage daily operations of the Link Club, including organising activities and resources

- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

- Utilise early childhood education principles to support children's learning and development

- Supervise children during playtime and meal times

- Create a welcoming atmosphere for children attending the Link Club

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is desirable but not essential

- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written

- Ability to lead and manage a group of children effectively

- Passion for early childhood education and child development

- Demonstrated ability to engage with and support children

- Valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.95 per hour
