This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work for an amazingly fast-growing and one-of-a-kind company! Trade Outlet resells liquidated stock from the world's largest online retailers through outlets across the North West at less than 20% of RRP!

The Role: Liquidation Sales Manager


We're looking for a commercially savvy, results-driven

Liquidation Sales Manager

to take ownership of a critical part of our operation:

moving large amounts of stock

that isn't well-suited to our physical stores or e-commerce channel. This typically include products that are of lower-value or niche interest, or difficult to display on shelves.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on solving problems, spotting commercial opportunities, and having a really large impact on total company performance.

Responsibilities



Develop and execute

a dynamic liquidation strategy for excess, slow-moving, or lower-grade stock

Identify and manage resale channels

, including bulk buyers, auctions, wholesale platforms, and B2B partners

Negotiate sales

and partnerships to maximise revenue recovery while meeting stock movement targets Work closely with warehouse, retail, and e-commerce teams to understand stock flows and bottlenecks Monitor and report on KPIs including stock ageing, write-offs, and recovery rates Lead stock grading initiatives to improve the routing of stock to specific sales channels Keep an eye on social media trends to spot liquidation opportunities

Requirements



Proven experience in liquidation, B2B sales, surplus stock management, or a similar commercial/retail role Strong negotiation and communication skills Excellent organisation and time management Comfortable working independently and between several departments An entrepreneurial mindset: resourceful, creative, and proactive

Nice to Have



Experience in the

FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon)

or reverse logistics space Knowledge of auction, clearance, or salvage markets Contacts in the wholesale or secondary retail markets
