We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated litigator to join our team . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of litigated matters, ensuring that all cases are handled efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyse complex legal issues and provide sound advice to clients.
Duties
Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings etc
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
Negotiate settlements with opposing parties to resolve disputes amicably when possible.
Instruct Counsel to attend to hearings, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.
Maintain accurate records of case progress and communicate updates to clients regularly.
Collaborate with other legal professionals, including solicitors and paralegals, to ensure comprehensive case management.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations that may impact ongoing litigation cases.
Requirements
A degree in Law or a related field is essential.
Proven experience in litigation or a similar legal environment is preferred.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software is advantageous.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all legal matters.
