The Southampton Fareham and Havant Legal Services Partnership is an outcome focused service recognised for its dedication to improving the communities in which we live and work and delivering professional excellence.



We provide strategic and professional advice and services covering all aspects of local government law.



We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and growing team during a period of significant transformation and major project delivery within the Councils supported by the Legal Partnership.



We have a vacancy for a litigation solicitor to join the Litigation Team with a focus on employment work dealing with ET claims and advocacy at the ET.



As well as providing advice on all aspects of employment issues the role also involves prosecutions for the regulatory arms of all three Councils together with Licensing and civil litigation.



To be considered you should be a qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales. Evidence of public sector and/ or relevant private practice work experience is highly desirable. In addition, you will be required to 'hit the ground running' with an enabling and positive approach to finding solutions to complex problems and working flexibly across a multi skilled team supporting colleagues regardless of the area of law supported is essential.
