Spectare Limited, trading as Bike Assist Legal, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Post Defence Litigation Team. This role combines hands-on case management with leadership responsibilities, supporting a team handling fast and intermediate track personal injury and credit hire claims.
You will manage a small personal caseload while supervising a team of litigation handlers, ensuring compliance with internal protocols, service level agreements, and the Civil Procedure Rules. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a small caseload of litigated personal injury and credit hire claims
Supervise and support the daily operations of the Litigation Team
Provide technical guidance on complex claims and litigation strategy
Ensure adherence to internal procedures, protocols, and SLA requirements
Promote efficient claims handling and a client-focused approach
Take a commercial yet balanced approach to settlement and litigation risk
Monitor team performance and contribute to strategic planning
Deliver coaching, mentoring, and training to team members
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
Support the Litigation Manager with incentive schemes and performance reviews
Ensure team compliance with KPIs and monthly targets

Required Experience
2-3 years PQE or CILEX qualified
Extensive experience in litigated RTA personal injury and credit hire claims
Proven track record in managing fast track claims through to trial
Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and Damages Claims Portal
Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of independent decision-making
Desirable Experience
Experience handling intermediate track claims through to trial
Familiarity with motorcycle-related personal injury claims

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
