Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Litter Picker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of public spaces. This position involves working outdoors, ensuring that litter is collected and disposed of properly, contributing to a cleaner environment for the community.
Responsibilities
Collect litter from designated areas, including parks, streets, and public spaces Ensure all collected waste is disposed of in accordance with local regulations Report any issues or hazards encountered during litter collection to the supervisor Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with the public and addressing any inquiries Work collaboratively with team members to achieve cleanliness goals Drive to various locations as required for litter collection duties
Requirements
Valid driving licence is preferred for travel between locations Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and the public Strong customer service skills to engage positively with community members Excellent communication skills to report findings and collaborate with colleagues Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and maintain physical stamina for manual tasks
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
Every weekend Monday to Friday
