About the Role:

At DDL Group, we are looking for dedicated and reliable litter picking crews to join our team in maintaining the M25 motorway network. This is a physically active role, crucial in keeping the motorways clean, safe, and free from hazards. It's ideal for hardworking individuals who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a committed team.

Due to the nature of the work, the majority of shifts will take place at night, with occasional daytime hours available during motorway closures.

This role is perfect for anyone seeking flexible working hours, Shifts allocated on a weekly basis to suit operational needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Collect and safely dispose of litter along designated sections of the motorway network.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures while working on the motorway.

Report any hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly

Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to maintain cleanliness standards.

Follow shift schedules and complete all tasks within the allocated time.

Use and maintain litter picking equipment in a safe and proper manner.

Skills/Experience

Physically fit and able to work night shifts (starting at 9:00 PM) for a minimum of 9.5 hours per shift.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Previous litter picking, roadside maintenance, or outdoor work experience is desirable but not essential.

Full UK driving license would be an advantage but not required.

Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.

Must pass a medical assessment to be able to work.

Hold a valid CSCS card is a plus but not required

Job Types:

Zero-hour contract. (Shifts will be allocated on a weekly basis)

Salary:

12.50ph

Schedule:

Shifts will be allocated dona weekly basis, up 47.5 hours per weeks (Night and Day)

Night Shifts start at 21:00hrs (Minimum of 9.5 hours will be paid per shift)
