We're looking for a friendly and reliable live-in team member to join our pub, with the majority of shifts based behind the bar, and occasional support in the kitchen.
You'll be cross-trained across both front and back of house, giving you a great opportunity to develop well-rounded hospitality experience.
This is a live-in role with shared accommodation provided on-site, making it perfect for someone looking to save on rent and be part of a supportive, close-knit team.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and stocked.
Assist with meal preparation when required, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation and handling.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure a positive working environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for the role is key.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A willingness to learn about culinary skills, meal preparation, and bar operations.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
