Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated live in Caregivers to provide essential support to a male individual suffering severe stroke in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our client, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. This position is ideal for those who are familiar with live in care and stroke experience.

Shifts will be 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off recurring

Duties

Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort. Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Support client with daily activities to promote mental well-being. Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in live in care . Ability to prepare meals that meet specific dietary needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Flexibility to work week on/week off as required.
