We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance. This role involves working closely with clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Duties
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health.
Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or activities.
Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their mental and emotional well-being.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs.
Experience
Previous experience in senior care or home care is highly desirable.
Familiarity with dementia care techniques is an asset.
Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial.
Proven ability to manage behaviours compassionately and effectively.
A valid driving license is requiredfor transportation duties.
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others are essential.
