Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients, whether they are residing in assisted living facilities, receiving hospice care, or requiring home care. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for the individual we care for who is looking for companionship and a big personality.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in patient care, senior care, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of assisted living, hospice care, home care, or nursing home environments is advantageous. Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client needs. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients.
