We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including home care, assisted living, and nursing homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Duties
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility support.
Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
Support individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory care needs.
Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and organization of living spaces.
Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining client confidentiality.
Qualifications
Previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or direct support professional is preferred.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when required (e.g., using a Hoyer lift).
Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in client condition.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
