Live-In Carers
to support individuals to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes.
As a Live-In Carer, you will provide personal, emotional, and practical support to our service users, ensuring they maintain dignity, choice, and quality of life. You'll live with the service user in their home, offering both care and companionship.
Key Responsibilities
1. Personal Care
Support with getting in and out of bed, mobility, and safe moving procedures.
Assist with personal hygiene (washing, bathing, oral care, dressing).
Help with toileting needs and continence care.
Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding if required.
2. Domestic Support
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
Carry out household tasks (cleaning, laundry, bed making).
Undertake shopping or errands as directed.
3. Social & Emotional Support
Provide companionship and emotional reassurance.
Encourage hobbies, activities, and community engagement.
Support service users in maintaining family and social connections.
4. Monitoring & Reporting
Observe and report changes in health or environment to the care team.
Keep accurate records of care delivered.
Report safeguarding concerns promptly in line with policy.
5. Teamwork & Professional Practice
Work closely with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
Attend training, supervision, and team meetings.
Promote equality, diversity, and respect at all times.

Person Specification
Essential:
Caring, compassionate, and respectful nature.

Ability to follow care plans accurately and record information clearly.
Physically able to perform role duties (e.g. moving and handling).
Desirable:
Previous care experience (not essential - full training provided).
Willingness to work towards health and social care qualifications.
Requirements
Right to work in the UK.
Willingness to live in service users' homes during placement.
Enhanced DBS check (company can arrange if not already held).
