Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live in Home Care worker to provide essential support to clients in their own homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of individuals who may require assistance with daily activities due to age, illness, or disability. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs Assist with mobility and transportation, including driving clients to appointments or social activities Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment Support clients with Alzheimer's or dementia care, employing behaviour management techniques as necessary Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction

Experience

Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Home care services providing personal assistance to individuals in their own homes First aid certification is advantageous, along with any relevant caregiving qualifications Complex care End of Life
