Job Summary
We are seeking a kind, reliable female live-in helper to support a gentleman living with dementia in his home. This role combines personal care and companionship with general household support
Responsibilities
:Providing daily support and companionship to a male dementia patient Assisting with personal care and supervision, including occasional night-time assistance General household duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping Helping to maintain a safe, calm, and supportive home environment Assist client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Provide companionship and engage client in conversation and activities to promote mental well-being. Maintain sanitation standards throughout the home, ensuring a safe space for client. Assist with medication reminders and other health-related tasks as needed. Support client with mobility assistance, ensuring their safety during transfers and movements.
Experience
Previous experience in dementia care or elderly care Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy nature Ability to manage household tasks independently Female applicants only (personal care requirement)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 45,000.00-52,000.00 per year
