Overview

The role of a Support Worker is vital in providing compassionate and dedicated care to individuals in our residents' homes. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality of life for those you support, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Duties

Provide personal care assistance to clients if required Support individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation and medication administration. Engage in behaviour management techniques to support clients with specific needs. PBS experience is highly desirable Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of residents. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by following health and safety protocols. Document support provided and report any changes in the residents's condition to the Team Leader. Collaborate with social care and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Skills

Experience in supporting people in their own homes is highly desirable. Good communication skills are a pre-requisite for this position Knowledge of Safeguarding procedures and protocols is a must Strong communication skills to effectively interact with our residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Experience of achieving good outcomes for people with Learning Difficulties, Autism and/or co-morbid Mental Health challenges. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
