Live-In Support Worker (Female) York

2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off | Full UK Driving Licence Ideal

Ready to empower someone's independence and be part of their journey?

At Active Care Group, one of the UK's leading providers of complex care, we believe every person deserves the chance to live life on their own terms.

Now, we'd love for you to meet one remarkable individual who's looking for someone just like you.

Meet the client:

The client values companionship and meaningful support, especially during his daily routines. He is a smoker and appreciates having his support worker stay with him during these moments, as it provides comfort and continuity. In the evenings, he enjoys winding down with an alcoholic drink, which is a familiar and preferred part of his routine.

He has a deep interest in military history and proudly displays a collection of memorabilia in his home, including figures, replica items, flags, and unique ornaments. He also enjoys collecting unusual and quirky items that reflect his individual personality and passions.

Social connection plays a key role in the client's wellbeing. He responds well to warm, respectful interactions and benefits from consistent, trusting relationships with his support team. A strong rapport not only helps meet his care needs but also supports his independence and reduces the risk of self-neglect.
