We're currently recruiting a
Lived Experience Development Worker
to join our
Arrows Project
in
Moray
.
This role is at the heart of our recovery-focused approach. You will lead on creating and developing a peer-led recovery community across Moray, building support structures that are rooted in lived experience, hope, and mutual support.
You will play a key role in reducing stigma, empowering people with lived and living experience, and ensuring their voices shape how services are delivered in our communities.
This is a dynamic role with opportunities to innovate, lead, and make a lasting difference in communities across Moray.
Areas of Work Include:
Developing and managing lived experience
support groups
and volunteers across Moray
Coordinating with the
Lived and Living Experience Panel
to guide service design
Leading on
data collection
to inform development, commissioning, and improvement
Supporting
assertive outreach
in schools, prisons, and community projects
Building strong partnerships with
Police Scotland
,
Scottish Ambulance Service
,
MIDAS
, and other key stakeholders
Organising and hosting
Safe Events
and
Recovery Wellbeing Days
Supporting the creation of a local
Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO)
Promoting
trauma-informed practice
and embedding lived experience in service delivery
Facilitating
community education
to reduce stigma and support early intervention
Delivering
harm reduction
support, including BBV screening and access to treatment
Developing
peer education
opportunities and training through partnership with Scottish Drugs Forum (SDF)
Acting as the
service user voice
in line with MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) standards
Supporting evaluation, learning, and continuous improvement of the service
Maintaining accurate and confidential records of all support work and outreach
This is a part time permanent role offering 35 hours per week. Our FTE is 39 hours per week.
Driving license and access to your own transport is essential for this role
