We are seeking a compassionate, experienced

Live-In Carer

to support an individual living with

Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

in their own home. The client requires assistance with personal care, mobility, daily living tasks, and emotional support to maintain independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and continence care Supporting mobility (use of hoist or wheelchair, as needed) Administering or prompting medication Meal preparation and assistance with eating Light housekeeping duties Companionship and emotional support Monitoring and reporting any changes in health or wellbeing

About You:

Minimum 1 year of care experience (live-in preferred) Experience with MS or neurological conditions is highly desirable Trained in moving and handling, hoist use, and personal care Empathetic, patient, and reliable Excellent communication skills Valid right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care

We have a thriving live in care service and need suitable candidates to join our team. The length of the live in placement can be different depending on the client. Your duties may also differ for each individual client but this will be clearly stated within their Care Plan and may vary depending on the clients needs. Occasionally other care duties may arise that aren't included below and you will need to be able to adapt easily to take on these different duties if asked.

Standard pay rate 1039.26 per week + 50 tax free living allowance Full annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks per year.
