Our Live-in CareGivers enable adults requiring care or support to remain independent and live in their own homes for as long as possible. If you have a caring nature and a desire to help those in your community, read on to find out more about a rewarding job as a Live-in Care Assistant.

What we offer our Live-in Care Assistants:

Weekly pay rate of 900 per week

. Full time hours

Help with relocation travel to the Client's location

Reimbursement of all mileage incurred when transporting Clients

Reimbursement of PVG cost following probation period

A 24 hour on call support service - we are only a phone call away should you need any help at all

Job security - with over 80 offices in our network, should your care package come to an end, there is the opportunity to move into other care packages across the UK. There is also a high demand from potential Clients in the Dundee, Angus and North Fife areas

Right at Home Dundee, Angus and North Fife provide live-in care and support packages to clients in the following areas: Dundee City, Broughty Ferry, Monifieth, Carnoustie, Arbroath, Forfar, Meigle, Inchture, Longforgan, Invergowrie, Wormit, Newport on Tay, Tayport, Leuchars and everywhere in-between.

Duties will include:

Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day

Personal care

Administering medication

Assisting Clients with washing and dressing

Shopping

Housekeeping

Meal preparation

Taking Clients for appointments or outings

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

Be available to relocate to and live at the Client's home (private bedroom)

Must be aged 18 or over

Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle as the post is likely to involve taking Clients to appointments, supermarkets etc...

Ideally we are looking to hear from candidates who possess professional qualifications such as an SVQ2/SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent although

this is not essential

.

Current valid registration with the Scottish Social Services council is also desirable or we can support you with registration.

Applicants must be willing to undertake a PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Group) check/update prior to commencing in post.

You might already have experience as a Live-in Care Assistant, but if you have worked as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS, and want to use you experience to help enrich a client's life on a long-term support basis, we would love to hear from you.
