We are looking for kind, compassionate and reliable individuals to join our growing team as Live-In Care Assistants

What we offer

Starting weekly pay rate of 900 per week (per av. 10-hour shift)

Help with relocation travel to the Client's location

Reimbursement of all mileage incurred when transporting Clients (45p per mile)

24 hour on-call support service from people who live locally

Right at Home Dundee, Angus and North Fife provide live-in care and support packages to clients in and around Dundee, South Angus and North Fife

Duties will include:

Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day

Personal care

Administering medication

Assisting Clients with washing and dressing

Shopping

Housekeeping

Meal preparation

Taking Clients for appointments or outings

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

Be available to relocate to and live at the Client's home (private bedroom)

Must be aged 18 or over

Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle as the post is likely to involve taking Clients to appointments, supermarkets etc...

Ideally we are looking to hear from candidates who possess professional qualifications such as an SVQ2/SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent although

this is not essential

Applicants must be willing to undertake a PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Group) check/update prior to commencing in post.

You might already have experience as a Live-in Care Assistant, but if you have worked as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS, and want to use you experience to help enrich a client's life on a long-term support basis, we would love to hear from you.
