I'm looking for a reliable, compassionate, and proactive Live in Care Assistant to join my support team. I have a spinal cord injury and ideally require experienced assistance with daily living tasks to help me maintain my independence at home and in the community.

I lead an active life, so reliability and flexibility are key
I'm looking for a female carer who can drive a manual/ automatic van and who is supportive, discreet, and professional
Main Duties Include:
Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Bowel & Bladder program (schedule, digital stimulation)
Manual handling and use of equipment (training can be provided for specific tasks)
Support with meals and domestic tasks
Accompanying me to appointments and social activities
Supporting independence and personal choice
About You:
Kind, respectful, and patient
Reliable with good timekeeping
Previous experience in care is preferred with spinal cord, physical, or complex care.
Treat others with dignity and respect.
Is committed to providing quality live in care.
Confident in manual handling and personal care
Able to work independently and follow instructions
Must hold a clean driving licence and be a confident driver.
A confident, proactive and adaptable individual with excellent organisational skills.
Experience for the role is not necessary, but a willingness to learn is essential.
Good spoken and written English.
A strong sense of discretion and emotional intelligence.
Commitment to work on a rotational basis to be agreed (i.e. 2 weeks on 1 or 2 weeks off)
Flexible work approach, can work long placements.
Happy to travel and enjoy a changing routine.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
Relevant spinal cord care experience preferred.
Can work independently in a busy famly environment.
Is willing to travel (expenses covered).
What we Offer:
959 per week plus a food allowance.
Paid travel expenses to and from placements.
Previous experience is an advantage but not essential, as we provide paid training
Next residential training course starting week commencing 28th July 2025
