Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support with meal preparation and housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Help clients adhere to their individual care plans, ensuring their needs are met effectively Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Drive clients to appointments or errands as required, maintaining safe driving practices Monitor clients' health and report any concerns to relevant healthcare professionals Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members or care coordinators

Qualifications

Solid experience working as a live in carer or providing home care is advantageous Evidence of undertaking home care training courses Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred Solid experience working as a Live In carer or providing home care is advantageous Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' independence and well-being Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisation and reliability in managing daily tasks
