129.00 per day and an additional 10.00 per day food allowance.

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Eastwood. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with all aspects of daily living, while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling career.

:

Supporting a 22 year old male who suffered a brain injury. He now has learning difficulties and Epilepsy - the client has a VNS device for seizure management. Tasks include medication administration, support with daily living and getting out into the community. The client can sometimes display challenging behaviour so previous knowledge or experience with clients with this would be preferred.

Hours:

7 day Weekly Live in, Monday 10am - following Monday 10am

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.

Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.

Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.

Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.

What We're Looking For:

A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.

A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential. Previous knowledge/experience with Epilepsy and Challenging behaviour is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
