We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Stafford. Supporting a 35 year old female who has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. This client requires support with Medication administration and nebulisers. She also requires support with all aspects of daily living, personal care and assistance with eating and drinking. A driver is preferred for this role as the client has an adapted vehicle which can be used to access the local community. The client has a pet in the property.
Hours:
7 day Weekly Live in, Monday 10am - following Monday 10am

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.
Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping. The client has lots of interests such as arts and crafts, watching movies, getting out into the community and much more.
Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing support with Mental Health and companionship.
Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.
What We're Looking For:
A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential. Previous knowledge/experience with Mental health support is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
