Live-In Care Assistant for a Young Adult - Hertfordshire

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a young adult, who is living at home in Hertfordshire. She is looking for like-minded Care Assistants provide her personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adult's life.

Start:

ASAP

Rota:

7 days on / 7 days off

Location:

Hertfordshire, WD3

Pay:

200 per shift / 1,400 per week worked

Free accommodation whilst on shift

Holidays:

5.6 weeks holiday pro rata

A Full Manual Clean Driving licence is required to drive the client's adapted vehicle.

Care experience is not required as full training of our client's particular requirements will be provided.

About our Client:

Our client has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and as a result, is a full-time wheelchair user. She is currently finishing her college studies and will be returning home to Hertfordshire in a few weeks' time. In her spare time, she thoroughly enjoys socialising and going out with her friends, whether it's for food, concerts, or a bit of retail therapy. She loves Pop music, with her favourite show being Grey's Anatomy. She is a bubbly and happy person, who is looking for someone with similar interests to hers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Manual, Clean Driving licence (Essential)

- Confident driver as you will be expected to drive the client's vehicle in the future

- Excellent sense of humour and ability to not take life too seriously

- Physical fitness, patience, and a caring nature

- Strong communication and listening skills

- Mature and responsible attitude

- Fluent in English

- Clean and tidy appearance
