We at 1-2-1 Live in Care focus on providing Live in Care. We have over 10 years' experience in Live in Care and is something that every member of our team is passionate about. We are looking for Live in Carer Assistants that are keen to work in the Southwest of England.

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live In Care Assistants to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need in a comfortable environment. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a willingness to drive to various locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate parties. Assist clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care in the home setting.

Requirements

Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and their families. Previous experience in home care or a related field is required; training will also be provided. Ability to understand and follow care plans accurately. Familiarity with IT systems for documentation purposes is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. A caring attitude and a genuine desire to help others are crucial for success in this role.

DBS is to be paid upfront and then 1-2-1 Live In Care will reimburse you after completion of 6 month probation.

You will need the Right to Work in the UK. We will need to see proof of this, in the form of a British passport, a settled or pre settlement status under the EU Settlement Scheme or a Visa giving you the right to work in the UK without any restrictions.
