Overview



We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about improving quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. The caregiver will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence within a respectful and caring environment. Candidates should have experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care settings, along with relevant certifications such as CPR and First Aid. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's, or autism is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while working in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities



Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following care plans Monitor vital signs and observe patient condition to report any changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation Support clients with memory care needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing specialized techniques and ensuring safety measures are in place Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers and heavy lifting when necessary Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Follow all safety protocols during patient care activities, including CPR and first aid procedures when required Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update care plans and ensure comprehensive support tailored to each client's needs

Qualifications



Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or group home settings preferred Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training highly desirable Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dementia, or memory care needs preferred Ability to assist with ADLs and perform patient monitoring effectively Strong communication skills and compassionate nature essential for building trusting relationships with clients Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility support safely Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring preferred Valid driver's license may be required depending on the role's transportation responsibilities Flexibility to work various shifts based on client needs; some positions may require evening or weekend availability

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 48 per week
