Live In Carer For Client With Dementia

This post has been placed by Peterborough Council for Voluntary Service on behalf of a client. The client will be the employer but will use PCVS as a third party for the purposes of applications. I am an independent employer seeking carers for my mother. She has Parkinson\xe2\x80\x99s and Lewy Body Dementia. We both live in the Newborough area and have a small dog. We are currently seeking someone to cover our regular carer between 12th and 31st January 2024 with the possibility of a permanent post. We require someone that is friendly, agreeable, calm, tidy, patient and adaptable with experience in dementia Although my mother is the main client requiring support, I may require some occasional support on occasion. I have Cerebral Palsy and my own PA, but they are not with me all day. The applicants will be living-in between 12th and 31st January with a 2 hour break daily. staff to provide personal care, moving and handling, medication, meal preparation, general, companionship, support and light house duties. Key points:
- Client is a wheelchair user and uses a Mo-Lift for transfers
- you will be sleeping at night, predominantly supporting through the day as required
- We are also seeking bank staff who could cover for planned and emergency leave
- Driver preferred.
