Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Liverpool based Tree Climber Tree Surgeon based in Liverpool to join our team.

Tree climbers based in Liverpool should only apply for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance or horticulture, with the ability to work safely and efficiently at heights.

Opportunity to cross over to grounds maintenance when tree surgery isn't necessary.

Duties

:

Climb trees using appropriate safety equipment to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks. Conduct landscape or grounds maintenance activities, ensuring the health and aesthetics of trees and surrounding areas. Operate machinery such as stump grinding, grass cutting hedge trimming etc Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including cutting, shaping, and maintaining trees, hedge, bushes etc. Assist with grounds maintenance when needed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.

Experience

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, tree surgery or horticulture, or a related field is essential. Familiarity with mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues is advantageous. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to tree care and grounds maintenance or landscaping. Previous experience in construction or gardening will be considered an asset. A strong commitment to safety practices while working at heights is required.
