Job Description

Livestock Driver.

The job entails the transportion of pigs. You will be required to liaise with others involved in the food production supply chain as well as being responsible for loading and unloading, washing out and the general daily maintenance of the unit and trailer. Nights out on average are 2/week. A full job description will be provided to potential candidates upon request. Livestock experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. This position benefits from an extremely competitive payment package which is made up of the basic salary as well as various bonuses including meeting performance expectations (100% of the workforce have consistently received this additional payment due to the high standards met by all). The earning quoted are after Training has been completed. Furthermore, benefits include a uniform and laundry service and we pay in house CPC Training. RTN Nelson has a great record of employee retention and the position has become available due to staff retirement. The transport manager works closely with the drivers to ensure that as far as possible work schedules accommodate driver's personal lives in order to promote wellbeing and ensure a positive working environment.
