We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Livestock Mill Person to join our livestock team. The successful candidate will be responsible for making animal feed, delivering, and blowing feed, ensuring high-quality standards, and performing routine mill maintenance.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the milling of feed production and quality control.
Maintain accurate records related to feed production and inventory.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on mill equipment.
Ensure all operations comply with health and safety standards.
Collaborate with the farm team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Mechanically minded with the ability to perform basic maintenance on mill equipment.
Previous experience in feed production or a similar role is preferred, but training will be provided.
Willingness to work six days a week or every second weekend.
Good record-keeping skills.
Immediate availability is preferred.
