Livewell Service Manager

Salford, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

About Greater Manchester Live Well

Greater Manchester's Live Well approach aims to make it easier for residents to access integrated, community-led support - shifting the system from crisis response to prevention and early help. Live Well Centres act as welcoming 'front doors' that connect people to wider neighbourhood networks of support (including Live Well Spaces, Offers and a connected workforce).

About Social adVentures

Social adVentures is a Salford-based social enterprise working with communities to help people live happier, healthier and more connected lives. The Angel Centre is a welcoming community hub in Salford offering wellbeing activities, groups, workshops, events and space for community connection.

About the role

You'll shape The Angel Centre into a thriving Greater Manchester Live Well Centre, lead our Community Connectors (social prescribers), and keep delivery on track through confident contract management, outcomes reporting and service improvement.

The Angel Centre will act as a welcoming 'front door' for local residents - connecting people to support around wellbeing, social connection, housing, money, employment and wider life challenges through strong partnership working across VCSE, health and local services (including Wellbeing Matters).

You'll also help position The Angel Centre as a strong access point into Elevate Salford - a learning, skills and work programme coordinated by Salford CVS supporting people furthest from the labour market into training, volunteering, work placements and employment.

Monitor performance and outcomes, ensuring accurate, timely reporting to commissioners/funders (including learning, insight and case studies where appropriate).

Identify risks early and take action to keep delivery on track, leading improvement plans when required.

Support budget oversight linked to contracts, ensuring delivery within resources and demonstrating value and impact.

6) Partnership working and place leadership

Represent Social adVentures and The Angel Centre in relevant locality meetings and partnerships.

Work with VCSE infrastructure and system partners to strengthen integrated, preventative support in Salford.

Help develop joint working approaches that reduce duplication and improve the experience for residents.
