A globally focused opportunity as a Senior Associate within the Lloyd's International Trading Advisory (LITA) for a compliance specialist to provide international regulatory consultancy services to the market to support compliance with Lloyd's international trading rights.
Key Accountabilities:Coordinate international regulatory consultancy services: Lead the LITA teams support to the market on regulatory and business conduct requirements, Lloyd's trading rights and restrictions. Coordinate the delivery of the LITA enquiry service, with responsibility for managing the more complex LITA queries, allocating queries across the LITA associates and identifying / reporting any trends to management.
Lead the market training on Lloyd's regulatory tool Crystal+, both on an ad-hoc basic and as part of Multinational key initiatives, including overseeing the introduction and promotion of the regulatory tools e-learning module.
Support the delivery of networked global regulatory advice by working with colleagues in Lloyd's international offices and other Corporation departments at large.
Manage and improve market communications by overseeing effective communication planning, updating guidelines, advising on best practice, ensuring that information is presented to the market in an appropriate manner and providing back up in the review and publishing of regulatory communications (E-Alerts & Market Bulletins).
Lead/coordinate the integration of globalised regulatory advice across the Global Network which enables LITA to manage regulatory and compliance risk more consistently and effectively in a diverse cultural landscape with increasing regulation and complexity across multi-jurisdictional regions.
Lead on regulatory projects/initiatives aligned to the objectives of Lloyd's market, including representation on relevant project groups/steering boards.
Support the engagement and management of key stakeholders in the market, including managing agents, Lloyd's brokers, and key insurance associations (the LMA and LIIBA)
Manage the review and editing of content in Crystal+ in respect of all unlicensed territories, allocating territories across Associates to ensure that all information is up to date, accurate, clear, concise and relevant. Ensure that legislative changes/developments are identified, monitored and actioned. Maintain an audit trail of all content changes within Crystal+ and ensure that the annual content review is completed for all unlicensed territories in accordance with agreed schedule working.
Deliver all relevant regulatory objectives and projects in support of Lloyd's Strategic Priorities
Knowledge of international regulatory environment, regimes and requirements and the ability to understand and interpret insurance/legal principles and regulatory information and apply a commercial approach is essential to the success of the role. You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to:Communicate complex information and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Problem analyse and resolve Business/regulatory issues
Work on different territories and with various overseas staff whilst maintaining a global perspective
Understand and participate in complex projects and improve processes
Handle a range of priorities and tasks in parallel
