Bluestones is working with a leading distrubution comapany in the carrickfergis area and due to continued growth they have a requirment for immedidate start warehouse operatives

Hours 3 days per week 10am - 4pm (No weekends )

Location- Carrickfergus

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader/Unloader to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that materials are handled safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Loader/Unloader will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of operations within the warehouse.

Duties

Load and unload materials from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling practices are followed. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels. Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Build pallets for shipping and receiving, ensuring items are securely packaged. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, including forklifts, to ensure they are in good working order. Assist in materials handling throughout the warehouse, maintaining an organised workspace. Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and maintain productivity levels.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues. Strong physical fitness is required for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
