The Opportunity




Join us as a

Loader

at our Ashington factory, where you'll be a key part of a dynamic, multi-skilled production team. You'll help produce high-quality concrete products in a collaborative and safety-focused environment. Must adhereing to our Health & Safety requirements, with continuous commitment to a zero harm culture, be enthusiastic and highly motivated. Excellent communication and team working skills are essential and experience within the industry would be preferable. The ability to be flexible is an advantage. You will be working with factory stackers to make sure they are stacking safely and in the correct bays and checking yard for stock checks as required.


To work in a loading team responsible for loading and/or unloading vehicles with finished goods for onward delivery to customers or inbound site transfers. With the seasonal nature of sales demand, shift work will be required. As demand falls during the winter, the post holder may be required to work in the factory as required. You will also inspect, carry out and ensure that plant routines are regularly adhered to and that the cleanliness

of the plant mechanism, plant area, adjacent buildings, and equipment are at all times properly and regularly inspected, cleaned in accordance with site instructions.

You will be driving both clamp and fork lift trucks.

You're a proactive and enthusiastic team player with the skills and mindset needed to excel in a fast-paced production environment. Here's what makes you a great fit:

Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a flexible approach to supporting team goals. Ability to work independently, solve problems, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure setting. Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor, including lifting and carrying. Experience operating and maintaining automated equipment and mobile plant is desirable. A health and safety-focused individual committed to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. Forklift driving experience is desirable
