Join Our Team - Keep the Yard Moving!

We're a family-run aggregates and concrete business based in Greendale Business Park, Exeter, and we're looking for a skilled and reliable Loader Shovel Driver to join our busy yard team.

You'll play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly -- loading lorries, serving customers, and maintaining a safe, tidy yard.

If you enjoy working outdoors, operating machinery, and being part of a small, friendly team, this could be the ideal role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

Operate a loading shovel to load lorries, and customer vehicles Stockpile and move materials safely around the yard Load and unload aggregates, concrete, and waste materials Serve and assist customers collecting materials on site Conduct daily machine checks and basic maintenance Keep the yard clean, tidy, and compliant with safety standards Work closely with other drivers and yard staff to ensure smooth operations

What We're Looking For

Loading Shovel (CPCS or NPORS) certificate - preferred Previous experience operating a loading shovel or working in a busy yard environment A strong awareness of site safety and efficiency Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude Reliability and punctuality are essential Must live within reasonable travel distance of our yard in Greendale Business Park, Exeter (EX5 1EW)
