Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Loader/Unloader to join our warehouse team. This role involves the safe and efficient handling of materials, ensuring timely loading and unloading of shipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse distribution, order picking, and heavy equipment operation, with a focus on safety and accuracy. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, forklift operation, or warehouse management systems is highly desirable to support smooth warehouse operations.

Duties

Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, Handle materials with care during movement to prevent damage or safety hazards Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times Support warehouse distribution tasks including materials handling and inventory control Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling Mechanical knowledge and understanding of warehouse safety standards (OSHA compliance) Experience with construction or heavy lifting tasks is a plus Warehouse supervisor experience or background in warehouse distribution is advantageous Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout the shift Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety

Pay: 13.00 per hour
