This role is in support of Cencora's third party logistics service in Europe operating through our Alloga business.
Join our team at Cencora Alloga, a leading global pharmaceutical solutions organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people and animals.
Job responsibilities:
To be responsible for the preparation and accurate vehicle loading for all aspects of the loading operation in order that orders are delivered on time and in full and that all orders are transferred between warehouses in an accurate and timely manner, therefore meeting the requirements of Alloga UK.
Location: Derby, DE55 2FH Site AP1
Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate of Pay: 12.40 per hour
Shift times: Monday to Friday 0600-1400 / 1400-2200 Rotating Shifts
Key Tasks:
To ensure that cold-chain and controlled drug disciplines are adhered to at all times
To ensure that any errors identified during load assembly are recorded and fed back to the Loading Supervisor or Loading Team Leader
To ensure of complete and accurate scanning of orders for the load and checking content against the final shipped load sheet
To ensure that all loading, transport, driver and customer documentation is completed accurately and in full
To ensure that all POD's raised for collection vehicles are completed in full by the driver
To adhere to Department of Transport regulations for Air Freight Security

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

• Previous experience working in a warehouse.
• An understanding of Air Freight Security Regulations
• Qualified in ROPT
• Experienced in operating an RDT
