WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

About This Opportunity

Lloyds Banking Group\xe2\x80\x99s Agency function is one of the largest in the market, and we\xe2\x80\x99re responsible for the management of the relationship between a borrower and a syndicate of lending institutions covering complex loan facilities. Often secured in multiple jurisdictions, the role provides an opportunity to work with our high profile internal and external partners to deliver for our clients.

We\'re mandated as Agent or Security Agent on more than 300 syndicated loan agreements which cover the following sectors: Corporate Real Estate, Acquisition Finance, Trade, Corporate, Project Finance & Financial Institutions. Embracing the principles of client first and continuous improvement to meet the often very diverse and sophisticated interests of our partners. We pride ourselves on providing a high quality and professional service both to our borrowers and lenders alike.

You\'ll take responsibility for medium to complex syndicated loans, involving regular liaison with portfolio clients, syndicate lenders and third party professionals.

The role consists of understanding and interpretation of facility documentation, assisting with ongoing Agency tasks including consents and waivers, distribution of financial information, resolving complicated syndicate matters as well as helping influence our focus on continuous business improvement.

This is excellent opportunity for the right individual to build an attractive set of technical skills (including a deep understanding of financial documentation and instruments) and improving interpersonal skills with a wide range of key external partners at all levels (participant banks, lawyers, accountants and technical advisers & clients).

A modest element of travel will be required on occasion to support business and client needs.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need

You\'ll work in a dynamic environment and will be a well-organised, flexible individual who can communicate and work collaboratively, enjoys working in a demanding environment, and has the ability to work optimally to timelines.

Previous knowledge of loan operations, credit and facility documentation and an understanding of the role of Facility Agent and Security Trustee would be advantageous.

Knowledge and experience of syndicated loan market

Demonstrate high level of confidence working with and interpreting Loan Market Association documentation

Strong interpersonal skills to successfully manage clients and co-ordinate internal / external relationships.

Excellent written and verbal communication across different audiences with a high level of attention to detail

Focused in your approach to work, balancing multiple challenging priorities and contribute to broader team initiatives
