Join us as a Loans Agency Relationship Manager

  • You'll be responsible for the provision of customer centric agency services for our most complex customers with the broadest range of needs
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you'll build and strengthen customer relationships, owning and managing a portfolio of syndicated loans customers and ensuring a best in market customer experience
  • You'll support the origination of new-to-agency customers, building relationships with stakeholders, customers, and intermediaries
  • Our team operates within a hybrid working model, which means you'll work from home some of the time, but you'll also spend time working from our London or Manchester office on a weekly basis to collaborate with your colleagues
What you'll do
Forming part of the frontline customer team, you'll add value to the customer agenda by assuming primary responsibility for the end-to-end agency service for your specific complex portfolio of customers. You'll deliver a best-in-class agency proposition, ensure high quality transaction execution, and provide excellent customer service. You'll also identify and manage risks which will involve the proactive management of robust customer plans, data quality, and portfolio reporting.
In addition, you'll:
  • Support the delivery of financial metrics, working collaboratively to drive new-to-agency mandates, while maintaining pricing disciplines and considering end-to-end cost
  • Ensure all management information is captured on a timely basis
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Liaise with external stakeholders as required
  • Support contribution to the strategic plan and management agenda and provide insight that informs the strategic plan
Once established in the role, you'll support junior colleagues by sharing best practice and offering relevant coaching and development support.
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you'll need broad experience of the banking industry with a strong grounding in commercial environments. You'll bring a solid understanding of relevant legal policies and risk management, alongside strong commercial acumen and a broad knowledge of banking products. You'll have the ability to interpret, and negotiate complex transaction documents with appropriate support.
You'll also demonstrate:
  • An understanding and experience of delivering complex transactions and working effectively across business units
  • Broad customer and sector specialism knowledge
  • The ability to build an internal and external stakeholder network
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
