Please note: This is a hybrid role. You will be required to attend the Ty Admiral office 1-2 days per week. Working hours follow a two-week rotating shift pattern, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Weekend work is required one Saturday every 6-8 weeks.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with customers via telephone, email and webchat to guide them through the loan application process, and answer queries or make changes to their agreement throughout the life cycle of the loan.
  • Provide first class service, maintaining high quality standards, including excellent customer service, as set out in your personal and department objectives.
  • Make a difference, whether this is when communicating with our customers or making the workplace an even better place to be.
  • Adaptable to change, we want people who are happy with making change quickly as we are a growing fast paced, business.
  • Be an integral part of our journey as we explore different communication methods
About you
  • Motivated, positive and energetic, with a can-do attitude. We're growing our business. We need people who are positive about change and can help get things done.
  • Good communications skills. We want our customers to experience exceptional customer service on all contact with us. The loan industry is heavily regulated. To that end, we will expect great overall quality and service scores in line with department and individual objectives
  • Excellent attention to detail, with an investigative mindset. Finance products can be complex, so you will need to absorb large amounts of information, whilst engaging the customer in phone calls or other digital channels such as webchat. As well as making sure we get the correct information input onto the system, you will also need to be switched on to potential mistakes or fraud within applications.
  • Ability to multi-task and retain knowledge. Whilst full training will be given, it will still be a fast-paced environment, throwing up some unexpected surprises! You will need to be resilient to deal with change. You will need to be thorough, organised, and confident in managing your work.
  • You will also have sound numeracy & PC skills.
