We are looking for someone local to the West Norwood area and someone flexible, who would like to join our inclusive and diverse team, which supports adults with learning disabilities and offers services to children and young people.
Full training will be provided.
All appointments subject to our safeguarding procedures including pre-employment checks and an enhanced DBS.
Main Responsibilities:
Undertaking daily cleaning of our two sites
Some key holding duties - opening and closing the building for hire bookings, which may include early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends, over 3 sites
Basic record keeping, reporting all H&S issues and damages to the Facilities Manager as they arise.
Manual handling and minor maintenance services, dealing with deliveries when on duty.
Duties:
Empty and re-line all bins, and put waste out in outdoor designated bins for collection
Clean toilets
Replenish toilet rolls, hand towels and soap
Sanitise bathroom, kitchen and food preparation surfaces
Clean kitchen areas
Descale and polish all sinks and taps
Polish Mirror surfaces
Polish Furniture
Keep all areas tidy and free of rubbish and obstructions
Hoover/sweep/mop all floor surfaces
Dust and polish all surfaces including desks, units, shelves, skirting boards and equipment
Clean and sanitise fridges
Clean and polish all internal windows and glass doors
Keep the entrance of the building clean and clear of rubbish and obstructions including the notice boards
Follow GDPR, COSHH, Food Hygiene and Health & Safety procedures
Lone work
Order cleaning stock with the Administration Manager
Use appropriate PPE
Use and maintain all cleaning equipment provided
Follow Building Safety and Security Procedures
Open, close and alarm the building for out of hours hire bookings
