2 X LOCUM CONSULTANTS IN TRAUMA AND ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY - LOWER LIMB ARTHROPLASTY
We are seeking consultant colleagues to join our friendly, dynamic team on a Locum contract of 12 months. Based between the Orthopaedic Trauma Unit, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the Grampian Elective Orthopaedic Centre, Woodend Hospital, these posts are offered on a whole time basis. The successful candidates will join an existing department of 29 NHS Surgeons.
The Orthopaedic department provides a comprehensive Trauma and Elective service for patients in Grampian region. In addition, it acts as a tertiary referral centre for the Highland, Shetland and Orkney regions. There is an active research and teaching programme. We are one of the busiest Trauma and Elective units in the United Kingdom. The Major Trauma Centre for the North of Scotland is based in Aberdeen.

Excellent transport links ensure that Edinburgh and Glasgow are less than 3 hours by train. Aberdeen airport has multiple flights daily to London and many other destinations across the UK and Europe.
