locum position for a period of 3 weeks

Monday 3rd, 6th & 7th 10th 13th 14th 17th 20th & 21st November - total of 9 days. The hours are 9 am until 5pm Mon and Thursday and 9am until 1.30 pm on the Friday.

Hourly rate is 35ph - nurse provided

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on preventative care.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to maintain optimal oral health for patients. Assess patients' periodontal health and document findings accurately in their records. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary choices that affect oral health. Utilise medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain a clean and sterile working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene licence and relevant qualifications. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills to manage patient records effectively. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining professional standards.
