We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain the treatment room, including sterilisation of instruments and equipment.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring and supporting patients throughout their appointments.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, post-operative care, and oral hygiene instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring all information is up to date and compliant with regulations.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of care is maintained at all times.
Requirements
Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or qualifications.
Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is desirable.
A proactive approach to learning new techniques and procedures within the dental field.
