Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dental Nurse to join our locum team working in various dental practices around Yorkshire and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the many dental practices we proudly work with whilst being reliable, professional and hard working each and every day.

If you have commitments such as Childcare, University or whether you're wanting to pick up a few days a week around other things, we still would love to hear from you. We are happy to support all our team around their busy life schedules, no one in our team is just a number.

Duties

- Assisting the dentist during patient examinations and treatments
- Being contactable during most days for last minute or future work
- Willing to drive up to 50 miles each way to a dental practice if requested
- Maintaining a clean and sterile environment for treatments
- Providing excellent patient care and support throughout procedures
- Managing stock levels of dental materials and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
- Using IT systems for patient records and appointment scheduling
- Being able to quickly adapt to new IT systems between dental practices
- Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues
- Organising and maintaining patient records accurately

Qualifications

- Qualified Dental Nurse of at least 1 year with all relevant certifications in date
- A full clean drivers licence
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Prior experience in a dental setting is required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 15.50-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
