LOCUM DENTIST -Leeds, WEST YORKSHIRE - 500 PD

NHS patients doing urgent care Tuesday 09:00-17:00 with 1 hour for lunch From August 12, for 1 month and review 500 FIXED day rate

Duties

Expected pattern of work 30 minutes slot 14 patients in total.

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations to assess the oral health of patients. Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues. Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in the creation of dental restorations. Interpret medical imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient practice operations. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent qualification recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC). Valid GDC registration to practice as a Dentist in the UK. Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry. Proficiency in CAD software and medical imaging techniques is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
