Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to cover the Christmas period at our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, ensuring high standards of oral health and patient satisfaction. The ideal applicant will possess strong clinical skills, a thorough understanding of dental anatomy and experience with medical imaging.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth, gums, and mouth to diagnose dental conditions. Perform a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and bridges. Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays and scans to inform diagnosis and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards. Ensure all equipment is sterilised and maintained according to health and safety regulations. Stay updated with the latest developments in dental technology, including anatomy knowledge enhancements.

Experience

Proven experience as a practising Dentist with a valid professional registration. Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to oral health. Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry, such as X-ray interpretation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients.
